The hotel was welcoming and warm when we entered, the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. It was an ideal stopping point for the ferry at Santander and the mountains of the Picos de Europe. The village has some excellent restaurants to cater for all pockets

The location is ideal and magnificent, 1 km from Playa de Tagle. The staff is top-class and the food is good.
As we remember, there was no breakfast.

Being close enough to walk to the beach and being close to Santander. It was also in a quiet location and the staff were very polite.
When we opened the window there was an unpleasant smell coming from outside. Although it was advertised as having satellite tv there were very few channels and none in English. The facilities in the room would not have been suitable for a longer term stay.

Good cooking and good breakfast.
There was no air conditioning in the room. That can be a problem in the case of hot weather, but we did not have this problem.

the hotel was quirky and unique, and the staff were amiable, thoroughly enjoyed the marvellous location next to the ferry, restaurants and bars which follow the water inland from the beach and the sea. our room with a superb whirlpool bath was perfectly clean with exceptionally comfortable beds. excellent service was provided. we spent delightful time and didn't want to say goodbye.

The hotel had a lovely swimming pool and outdoor terrace where we could enjoy the sunny weather. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location was great too, with easy access to restaurants and shops.
our bathroom was not very clean, and we had to request for it to be cleaned again. while we enjoyed the location and hospitality, the room left much to be desired.
